The town of Clare is located in the mid north of South Australia, about 150 kms north of Adelaide, a comfortable hour and a half drive. Settled in 1842, Clare is now the administrative and service centre for the surrounding area. Known for its ‘experiences’, the area is home to the Riesling Trail and is well known particularly for its white wine.
